The ideal of conjugal love in Vedas is important and of higher order. Just study the following Mantras and try to invoke the spirit of these Mantras as a part of your life.

Just as the creeper embraces the tree from all sides and takes shelter under it, similarly oh woman you also lovingly embrace me and take my shelter. Conduct yourself as one who likes me most. Never forsake me and go away.
Mama tva do shanishrisham krinomi hridayshrisham

Aham Khidami the mano rajashwah pristayamiva|
Resha chinnam yatha thrinam mayee the veshtaam manah|| Atharva 6.102.2
Let the man and woman wish and say this. Oh darling! Just as the way a horse pulls the cart from behind I attract your mind. And the way a blade of grass getting stayed in the grass pitch even a powerful wind sweeps; let your mind be stuck to me.
How noble and inspiring these thoughts on conjugal love! The relations between husband and wife in Vedic Dharma are unbreakable. There are no words such as Talaq or divorce in Vedic Dharma. But such concepts are unthinkable in Semitic faiths. In western countries man getting married and divorsed more than 20-25 times are of normal occurrence.
