Vedas give message of humanity.

Hey Man!
Enlarging the sphere of growing life, realise the Refulgent Lord. Rising above the material world, protect the paths laid by application of intellectual power. Spread or promote the blemishless deeds of the detached souls. Grow into a thinking person. Spread the divine Humanity. Produce noble human beings.
How beautiful and noble are the teachings! Go thru any books of religions of the world. You will not get this piece of advice. Bible asks the man to be Christian, and Koran asks the man to be Muslim, whereas Vedas asks the person to become a better human being. Here one may ask the question. Vedas too exhort,
Krinvantho Vishwamaaryam| Rigveda9.63.5
“Make the entire world “Arya”. Does not this exhortation also sound chauvanistic?
Our humble submission is, the term “ARYA” does not indicate race or does it connotes any racial meaning. Yogi Arvind Ghosh explaining the term “Arya” writes,
“There is no word in human speech that has a noble history”
In otherwords the word Arya conveys the meaning of a being noblest person. Vedas ask the men to be noblest and calls upon to make the entire humanity ‘Arya”. It asks the person to be noble and not bad.
Maahibhurmaa pridaakuh| Yajurveda 6.12 Hey Man! Don’t be crooked as a serpant and violent as wolf.
Then what should man become? Vedas asks to be Manurbhava i.e be noble human being. We desire our children to become Doctors or Enginees. However Vedas say,
Adattha pitharo garbham kumaram pushkarasrajam
Yatheha purushosat| Yajurveda 2.33
Hey Acharya! Admit this garlanded boy into your School. Why for? For the sake of becoming a full fledged Scholar! This is the Vedic ideal. It gives education become better human beings in the primary stage itself. Such kind of noble and inspiratory teachings cannot be found in other religions. Vasudevarao
