                 Vedas are supportive of communism. There are many Mantras indicating communism in Vedas. All the beautiful, noble thoughts of the world are emanated from Vedas only, for the reason Vedas are the source of all Dharma. Those thoughts which are meaningless and are bound to take man to destruction are all the creation of Man.  Vedas are the oldest book in world’s Library.  Many of the communist ideas propounded by Karl Marx are drawn from Vedas but since he has added something of his own to this ism   the communism of Marx looks grotesque and repulsive. If you are desirous of seeing the purity of river Ganga then the river is ought to be seen at the place of its origin. Like wise the true nature of Communism could be seen in Vedas only. Here are some Mantras.

                                       Jyayasvantascittino ma vi yausta

                                       samradhyyantah  sadhurascarantah|

                                        Anyo anyasmai  valgu vadanta eta

                                        Sadhirchinanvah sammanasaskrinomi||    Atharvaveda 3.30.5

  O you men and women in the family! have noble ideas in view, recognise your duties and responsibilities, be not torn asunder, be not served from one another emotionally, worshipping God congregationally and working to earn your bread in mutual cooperation, leading life jointly under the yoke of common righteousness and speaking sweetly and affectionately to one another, come along progressing and prospering, I make all of you treaders on the same path and united and understanding mentally.

                                         Samani prapa saha voannabhagha samane yoktre saha vo yunajmi|

                                        Samyachognim  saparyataara naabhimivabhitah||   Atharva   3.30.6

            O you men, may your water reservoirs be common, may the shares of food be enjoyed jointly, congregationally, I unite, you all under the yoke of common code of perform, with the other, worship, the lord of lustre, congregationally, just as, the spokes touch the hub from all rounds.

                   This is the root of communism. Further, Vedas say,

                                            Sahabaksya syama||          Atharva6.47.1

                     May all of us take the food together.

               Swami Dayanand while directing the points to be kept in view while imparting Education declares,

                   “All the scholars should be treated alike in the matter of food, drinks, dress, seats etc. Be they princes or the children of beggars, all should undergo the same discipline

                                                                                                           Satyartha prakash chapter 3

             The Mantra quoted above is specific. The prayers should be common; the people are binded together in love. How the prayer shall be? It should be similar as the spokes touch the hub from all rounds. This is the speciality of Vedas. In Communist countries people cannot join and pray together. God has been relegated to background in these countries.

                     Samano adva pravamanushyade|                Rigveda2.13.2

                Equal power rests with all people at common walking place.

Namo jestya cha kanistya cha namah purvajaya chaparajaya cha namah|

Madhyamaya chapagalpaya cha namo jaghanaya cha budhyaya cha||

   When the Vedas call for according appropriate respect and Honour to big and small people, our ancestors, and for the ensuing progeny, for low, high and middle, and to Scholars what could be more greater thoughts that the communism sought to convey?

                 Communists want to make people equal. But this is impossible. Vedas loudly declare,

                 Akshanvantah  karnavantah  sakhayo manojaveshvasama  babhuvuh|

                Adagnasa  upakakshasa u tve hrida iva snathva  u tve dadrishe||

                                                                                                                               Rigveda 10.71.7

Just as the way there are number  of reservoirs, of which some are deep and some are shallow, similarly all men although endowed with similar eyes, ears and even  gone thru same education   one is not like the other because of change in thoughts and intellect. Because of this one cannot remove the disparity in intellect obtaining among men.

                        A   mosquito has as much right as the eagle to fly in the sky. But the mosquito cannot fly as high as the eagle.

                        A communist wants the income to be distributed. They aspire to distribute the money of the rich to the poor. But this is not correct. Supposing I am having five rupees and if somebody robs of me this money I feel sad. However, if I give two rupees voluntarily I feel happy.

                            Vedas instruct us to share the food.

                 Moghamannum  vindathe  aprachetah satyam braveemi vadha itsa tasya|

                 Naryamanam pushyathi  no sakhayam kevalagho bhavathi kevaladi

                                                                                                          Rigveda 10.117.6

                   The unenlightened ignorant person enjoys food in vain. I speak the truth; it is indeed destruction of food. For, He does not strengthen the one that administers justice, nor the friend, the mere eater becomes a heap of sin. In other words, a person who enjoys himself being totally oblivious of Society is taken over by Sin.

                 Manu, the ancient law maker, states,

                          Vighasaashi  bhavennityam  nityam vamrithabhojanam|

                           Vighso bhukthashesham tu  yagnashesham tathamritham|\

                                                                                     Manu 3.285

                   Man should always eat the best like nectar. He must take food after Brahmins* are fed. What is left over is called Vighasa and Yagnashesha is called as Nectar.

Note:-* Brahmins are those as contemplated by Vedas. Manu does not recognise birth based casteist Brahmins.

Maharshi Dayanand writes,

                 Those who take food without doing Balivaishwa deva Yagna are to be treated as if they are consuming beef”

                     Vedic communism not only talks of human beings but also extends its scope of ideas even as to cover insects and moths.  The Indian Kings of past were very attentive to the welfare of their subjects. In Ramayana, Bharath goes to forests to bring back SriRam to Ayodhya. After exchanging mutual well being of each other,   Sri Ram asks Bharath,

               Kashchistavdukritham  bhojyamekho   nashnasi raghava|

               Kaschidashamsamanebhyo  mitrebhyabah samprachaycchasi||

      Hey Bharath!  You won’t take the nutritious food all alone Is it not? You offer the food first to your friend who is present at the time of your eating. Is it not?

            It is said in Srimad Bhagavat that a person is a thief and therefore punishable if he takes more than what is necessary to support his stomach.

                      These are the noble and lofty thoughts from Vedas
